Welcome to Grays Inn, in the centre of historic Wollombi village. Grays Inn is a 19th century sandstone Georgian building with great ensuite accommodation on the first floor, and Tabu Restaurant and Noyce Brothers Wine Cellar Door below. Guests can also relax in the beautiful gardens. With shops, cafes, boutique wineries, the Wollombi Museum, St Johns and St Michaels churches close by, Grays Inn is an ideal base to explore the local area and Hunter Valley Wine Country.

There are three lovely non-smoking rooms on the first floor of Grays Inn. Guests can also relax on the verandah overlooking Wollombi village. Each room is individually furnished to a high standard. Stay within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and other attractions.

“We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday at the picturesque old village of Wollombi. The distance from Sydney is just perfect; hour and a half through lovely countryside and there! All rooms are lovely nice room for perfect escape from city. The room came with complimentary bottle of Noyce Brothers fantastic shiraz. Will be there again. Definately!! This just became our little getaway from hectic city!”

“A clean comfortable room in a heritage building with a balcony right in the heart of the village. We had a room without ensuite, but the bathroom was two steps across the hall and effectively our own. A lovely place to stay in the nicest part of the Hunter. Cafes, and the tavern all within a short stroll and Rover coaches picks up from just around the corner if you are going to an event. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. “
